Growth, technology, and expertise

With the Cimcorp North American market moving to adopt logistics automation at an astonishing rate, our operations there are growing rapidly. The teams at our locations in Ontario, Canada, and Atlanta, USA, are expanding to meet the demand for our robotic automation technology both in warehousing & distribution and the tire industry.

Cimcorpers with extensive automation experience

Although there is a continual need to evolve and adapt, the operation in North America benefits from a long-serving and highly experienced team. Rick Trigatti, President of Cimcorp Automation, Ltd., has been with the company for 22 years and at the helm since 2015. He is supported on the sales side by Derek Rickard and Don Heelis, while on the service side by Joel Kuusman.

Derek Rickard has been a Cimcorp employee for over 23 years and was promoted to Director of Sales for North America in 2020. He has vast experience in the supply chain sector, having worked on many of the first fully automated picking systems in North America.

Don Heelis, who works with the Global Tire Team, has a long-standing and in-depth knowledge of the tire industry. He has helped to bring innovative solutions and new technology to the market on a large scale. Joel Kuusman was appointed as Manager of US Operations and Technology Services in 2020. He joined Cimcorp as a site manager in 2014 and has considerable expertise in the installation and after-sales support of our automated systems.

We understand that every company’s logistics needs are unique and that successful automation projects require more than great technology. Cimcorp stands out because we offer customers extensive project management expertise and a long-term strategic partnership.

Innovative showroom in new Atlanta office

Cimcorp North America was established in 1982 and our Canadian colleagues have been working from the same office in Grimsby, Ontario, since 1999. On the other hand, Cimcorp USA, Inc. has made several moves within the state of Georgia. After starting out in Norcross in 2016, the team relocated to Alpharetta in 2020 but recently moved to a much larger facility in Atlanta.

Our expanded base is three times larger than the previous one, and has increased warehousing capacity for parts and an innovative showroom with space for product demonstrations and training. This location will enable us to serve our customers better and increase our share of the growing US market.
