A full schedule of customer orders, growing order sizes and a promising outlook have led Cimcorp to separate its sales departments for the tire-manufacturing and warehousing & distribution sectors.
Ulvila, Finland – Changes in organizational structure have been announced by Cimcorp, manufacturer and supplier of turnkey robotic order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, in line with its growing profile as a leading systems integrator.
Kai Tuomisaari, Vice President, Sales, said, “We are making these changes in order to ensure that all customer expectations continue to be met. The needs of our clients in the tire industry differ somewhat from those of our customers in the warehouse & distribution sector, and we believe that this organizational change will enable us to provide even more efficient and personal service during project negotiations than previously.”
The new structure of system sales at Cimcorp’s headquarters, which is effective from the beginning of June, will support the company’s growth and form the basis for the continuing development of its international organization.
We are making these changes in order to ensure that all customer expectations continue to be met, states Kai Tuomisaari, Vice President, Sales.
Three new Directors appointed
Former Sales Manager Veli-Matti Hakala has been appointed as Director, Tire Industry Sales. Commenting on the changes, Mr. Hakala said, “The new tire sector sales department concentrates the considerable tire industry know-how of our experienced and committed sales team. With this reorganization, we will be able to focus more strongly on the evolving needs of our tire industry clients, enhance our services as an integrator and respond more quickly to the challenges customers face.”
In the Warehouse & Distribution sales team, Kari Miikkulainen, formerly Sales Manager, has been appointed to the role of Director, W&D Industry Sales. “This is an important and exciting change for our business,” said Mr. Miikkulainen. “Our market share in warehouse & distribution automation has increased, with our fresh food solution being installed by several leading grocery retailers in Europe. Our new sales departments will be able to focus more on their respective fields of expertise to further develop Cimcorp’s solutions, in order to serve customers better.”
The third former Sales Manager to be promoted is Jarno Honkanen, who has been appointed to the role of Director, Solution Management in a brand-new department. The Solution Management department has been established with the specific aim of enhancing and maintaining the competitiveness of Cimcorp’s automation solutions. Mr. Honkanen explained, “My most important task will be to ensure that our solutions meet – competitively – the evolving needs of customers in both of Cimcorp’s core business areas. This means that the Solution Management department will not only need to work closely with both sales divisions, our R&D departments and our parent group, Murata Machinery, Ltd., but also with customers in both the tire and warehousing & distribution sectors.”
