Speakers from Cimcorp will be presenting seminar sessions at two key conferences for the tire industry – in India and Germany – this summer.

Having successfully delivered hundreds of automation projects for tire manufacturers around the globe, Cimcorp has amassed a degree of expertise and experience that is unrivalled in the field of logistics for tire manufacturing. Specialists from Cimcorp will be sharing their know-how and exploring industry trends at two upcoming tire industry events.

Veli-Matti Hakala, Sales Manager for Cimcorp, will outline the latest trends in logistics automation for tire manufacturing at the Asian Tyre & Rubber Conference (ATRC 2017), which will be held in Chennai, India, on 16-17 June. Says Veli-Matti Hakala, “In today’s rapidly changing global business environment, tire manufacturers face the challenge of improving productivity and meeting increasing customer demands while maintaining sustainability. Automation is key to achieving this and gaining competitive advantage.”

The keynote address at ATRC 2017 will be given by Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa for Apollo Tyres Ltd – a Cimcorp customer – and Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association, India’s tire industry association.

Later in June, Jyrki Anttonen will give a presentation at the Future Tire Conference in Germany. Held at Cologne’s Leonardo Royal Hotel on 27-28 June, this year’s conference has the theme of ‘Smart plants, smart supply, smart tires’. Bringing together top-level executives and decision-makers to discuss technological and market developments, Future Tire Conference will seek to identify the systems and strategies that will shape the future of tire production and distribution.

In his presentation Jyrki Anttonen, Cimcorp’s Technology Director, will explain to delegates how to manage end-to-end automation and robotics to achieve better control of the material flow through a tire plant. He will also outline emerging software trends and their implications for the design and operation of tire factories.
