Cimcorp to co-present two seminars and provide in-booth demonstrations of its fully automated picking solution at ProMat 2017

Leading intralogistics automation specialist will demonstrate its Cimcorp 3D Shuttle solution at booth S1218 and host two speaking sessions on warehouse automation solutions and their benefits

GRIMSBY, Ontario — Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, announces its automation expert, Derek Rickard will co-present two separate seminars titled, “AS/RS & Automated Layer Picking Systems: A Robust Combination” and “Automation- Because you’re worth it” with a special guest from L’Oréal at ProMat 2017. Cimcorp will also be conducting live demonstrations of Cimcorp 3D Shuttle at the conference, which will take place April 3 – 6, 2017 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

During ProMat 2017, Cimcorp will offer the following:

  • In-Booth Demonstrations: At booth #S1218, Cimcorp will showcase its Cimcorp 3D Shuttle system, a fully automated goods-to-man order picking solution, which consists of a robotic, automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS), high-speed conveyor system and ergonomic order-picking stations. Booth visitors will be given the opportunity to direct the Cimcorp 3D Shuttle to pick multiple totes, resulting in various prizes for all.
  • AS/RS & Automated Layer Picking Systems: A Robust Combination”: The first seminar will take place on Monday, April 3 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. (CST) in Theater I. Co-presented by Derek Rickard, distribution systems manager, Cimcorp; Aaron Corcoran, account executive, Westfalia Technologies, Inc.; and Matt Schaub, Sargento Foods, the seminar will discuss each technology, their features and functionalities, as well as why and how to integrate an automated layer picking system with an AS/RS.
  • Automation- Because you’re worth it, with L’Oréal: The second seminar will take place on Monday, April 3 from 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. (CST) in Theater G, and will be co-presented by Rickard and Jonathan Hart, L’Oréal. Key takeaways from the seminar include: How to access a large volume of inventory with a single machine and create customer orders in any desire sequence with robotic layer picking and financial, ergonomic and environmental benefits achieved by L’Oréal. Notably, L’Oreal’s system was selected as a Modern Materials Handling 2017 Productivity Achievement Award Winner for the Warehousing/Distribution category.
