Cimcorp, headquartered in Ulvila, Finland, wants to buy the neighboring land for a possible extension of its facilities.

The company has made an application to the City of Ulvila for the purchase of an additional land of 8,503 m2. The application will be handled by the City Board on May 22, 2017 and then by the City Council.

Cimcorp, manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, operates in three other locations in Finland and has subsidiaries in Canada and the United States.

Cimcorp Oy is growing extremely rapidly. Revenue has increased by 35 percent in 2016 and doubled in the past four years. During this time, Cimcorp has also increased its headcount by nearly a third. 2017 is expected to be a year of continued growth with a promising outlook.

“We are considering extending our facilities, because the existing premises have become too small. At the moment we are also operating in several rented premises,”

says Marjo Rimpelä, Vice President, Finance & Administration.

With the additional new floor area of 3,401 m2, Cimcorp will have a total floor area of 19,105 m2. There is no schedule for the extension as yet.
