Leading intralogistics automation specialist’s exponential growth leads to 15 percent increase in staff to better support the company’s business domains
GRIMSBY, Ontario – Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, announces a successful 2017 with double-digit, year-over-year revenue growth in North America. In 2017, the company continued to grow both its Canadian operations in Grimsby, Ontario and its U.S. office in Norcross, Georgia, installed its MultiPick solution in a leading bread and roll manufacturer’s facility, and subsequently enlarged its staff by approximately 15 percent, while expanding into new international markets.
After beginning operations in late 2016, Cimcorp USA continued to successfully expand Cimcorp’s sales, service and project support activities for customers in local U.S. target markets, including dairy, consumer goods, food and beverage, bakery and tire. As a result, Cimcorp USA helped grow both of the company’s business domains – distribution and tire – and realized a significant increase in business from repeat and new customers in 2017.
In mid-2017, Cimcorp announced Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. ® implemented its MultiPick solution in its Chambersburg, Pennsylvania facility. The family owned and operated bread and roll manufacturer is now able to pick goods faster, with few to no picking errors, complete traceability of products and without any of the inherent safety risks in personnel manually fulfilling orders.
