Highly experienced project manager to oversee the Dream Factory solution and ensure Cimcorp’s tire manufacturing customers continue to optimize their processes with automated materials handling solutions.

Ulvila, Finland — Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire handling solutions, has promoted Jari-Pekka Ylipaino to Dream Factory Solution Manager. Working closely with Cimcorp’s system design team and research and development department, Ylipaino will drive the current offering and future direction of the innovative solution that optimizes material and data flow for tire manufacturers. Together with Cimcorp’s management team, he will ensure the company remains a leader in pioneering advanced, end-to-end material handling systems.

“Our Dream Factory solution helps our customers’ most valuable process machines, including their building machines and curing presses, work at top efficiency. We are very proud of our solution, but we always strive to improve, smoothen and streamline our offerings even further to provide our customers with maximum results,” said Ylipaino.

Kai Tuomisaari, Vice President of Sales at Cimcorp, said, “Our goal is to help our customers increase their return on investment in both mature and emerging markets. With his long and successful career at Cimcorp, Ylipaino was our natural choice to take on the responsibilities of Dream Factory Solutions Manager. Ylipaino’s insight and industry expertise will be invaluable in solving our current and future clients’ material flow challenges.”

From raw material storage to finished tire warehousing and shipping, the Dream Factory system enables tire plants to run at full production capacity at every step of the manufacturing and distribu-tion process. The unique solution uses proven gantry robot technology for handling, buffer storing and picking, and intelligent software for providing total control of the material and data flow. Fitting both greenfield and brownfield tire plants, the Dream Factory solution can be installed in existing plants as a full, one-time deployment or independently through a phased implementation. For new facilities, the automation can be gradually built through a unique, modular concept, in which one line is installed at a time.

“We want to support our customers to focus on their strengths and core business, which is developing and producing high-quality tires. We developed the Dream Factory to give long-term added value to the tire industry and offer manufacturers the best, most advanced tools to make that possible,” said Tuomisaari.

Ylipaino began his career with Cimcorp in 1985 as a mechanical engineer and progressively moved into a managerial role, overseeing multiple tire plant projects around the world. Through his work in the industry, Ylipaino has developed strong relationships with Cimcorp’s associates, partners and customers, establishing a solid foundation for his new role as Dream Factory Solutions Manager. In this position, Ylipaino will coordinate current projects, key partnerships and sales, as well as work to define Cimcorp’s future goals and priorities for the Dream Factory solution, including hardware and software.
