Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team at headquarters in Ulvila, Finland as a Test Automation Engineer!

In this hands-on technical role, you’ll be at the heart of Cimcorp’s digital development, helping us build robust, reliable, and high-performing software solutions. You will champion automated testing practices across our development teams, ensuring every release is faster, more efficient, and more secure.

As Test Automation Engineer, you’ll work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to design and implement scalable automated test solutions across user interface, API, and system levels. Your role will support the integration of testing into our CI/CD pipelines, improving time-to-feedback and overall software quality. You’ll help us proactively catch issues before they reach our customers making quality a shared responsibility from day one.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 months to 5 years of relevant experience in software testing or automation
• Solid understanding of test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices
• Experience writing modular, reusable test code
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps principles, and version control
• Ability to debug, analyze test results, and collaborate across teams
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn new tools
• Fluent in English (spoken & written)
• Experience in industrial automation or secure software development is a bonus
