Global ICT systems administrator

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a global impact? We’re looking for a Global ICT Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT Services team at our headquarters in Ulvila, Finland.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the company’s technology landscape by delivering innovative solutions and ensuring the security and compliance of our systems.

You’ll have the opportunity to

• Administrate the Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID infrastructure, including configuration and security.
• Write and use basic PowerShell scripts that are designed for Enterprise systems administration and automation.
• Test and plan backup and disaster recovery.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Advocate for information security and promote a culture of security throughout the organization.
• Support IT policies and procedures to ensure system reliability and security.
• Collaborate on the technology roadmap, staying up-to-date with the latest ICT trends and developments.
• Contribute to systems administration and configuration, aligning with security and risk management principles.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, contributing to the planning of regional IT budgets and supporting the implementation of the company’s business objectives through technology.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in IT administration
• Strong understanding of business objectives and how technology supports them
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, Linux servers
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Azure) and Microsoft 365 administration
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols both local and virtual
• Expertise in cloud computing, virtualization, and cost-efficient IT solutions
• Knowledge of information security principles and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance
• Proficiency in IT disciplines: infrastructure, networking, software, and security
• Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple projects effectively
• Fluency in both English and Finnish
• Experience in global organizations is a plus
