Cimcorp USA Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Installation Support team.
Reporting through the designated Project Managers, the position will entail the following:
Lead the technical installation of Cimcorp systems on site. Work with the installation team to seamlessly resolve problems and communicate issues to the Project Manager.
Under the direction of the Project Manager, manage the delegation of tasks and overall workflow/pace of the installation team.
Act as a main point of contact for the on-site installation.
Manage, prepare for, supervise and administer the efficient arrival, unloading and recording of material handling and robotic system shipments to site.
Responsible for the initial inspection of the project site for safety hazards and communicate these hazards to the Project Manager. In conjunction with the local safety representative, the Site Manager is responsible for understanding site safety protocols, ensuring they are communicated to the installation team and adhered to at all times.
In collaboration with the Project Manager, responsible to obtain a qualified workforce for installation based on project schedule and budget.
Responsible to prepare the lay-down area for the installation of automation equipment as required by the customer schedule and space requirements.
Communicate assembly/technical issues from Grimsby/Ulvila/Norcross to/from customer site.
Participate in on-site meetings and discussions as well as lead installation team meetings. Report installation status to Project Manager
Act as communications link between customer, Cimcorp, subcontractors and vendors.
Subcontractor & Vendor management at site.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Licensed Industrial Electrician or Millwright with supervisory and project management experience.
Minimum 5 years work experience within large robotic system installations.
Demonstrated experience leading a team in a hands on technical environment.
Ability to clearly and confidently communicate ideas in written and verbal form.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
High degree of skill and efficiency using Microsoft Office as well as AutoCAD.
Excellent time management, communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
Ability to think creatively and critically.
Attention to quality.
Experience in an automated manufacturing environment would be an asset.
Extensive travel in North America at a minimum 90 days at a time.
